In summer everything in the Alpbachtal valley revolves around long walks and swimming fun in Tyrol’s warmest lakes.

The location between the lovely grassy mountains of the Kitzbühel Alps and the craggy Rofan mountains forms the backdrop of contrasting hiking in the Alpbachtal region in Tyrol. The Rofan mountains with high peaks such as Sonnwendjoch and Sagzahn impresses with rich fauna and flora. The Zireiner lake is considered the “Blue Eye of the Rofan”. This is one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in Tyrol. The Alpbachtal valley with its mountain pastures is an ideal hiking area in the Kitzbühel Alps with more than 900 km of hiking trails.

Five beautiful lakes in the region invite you to cool down. In addition to the Reintaler lake and Krumm lake in Kramsach and the Berglsteiner lake in Breitenbach.

The Reither lake is located right in the center of Reith and offers an excellent refreshment after mountain bike tours, hikes or walks. A large lawn, children’s play area, paddling pool, opportunity to go fishing, diving board, locker rooms, etc.

In addition there are numerous excursions in case of bad weather.
